How to Set up Localhost for WordPress – Class 2

Setting up XAMPP for WordPress is a great way to create a local development environment. Here are the steps to get you started:

Step 1: Download and Install XAMPP

  1. Download XAMPP:
  • Go to the official XAMPP website.
  • Choose the version compatible with your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

Step 6: Log In to WordPress

  • Enter the username and password you created during the installation.

You now have a local WordPress environment set up using XAMPP! You can start developing and testing your WordPress site locally.
